■ 책소개

As I publish my seventh collection of poetry picture book, Poem Reading in the Morning, I also have a poetry painting exhibition at Kyung-In Art Gallery, Insadong, Seoul, Korea with the title ‘The First Exhibition of Kim Chul-Kyo Literary Painting’.

Included In the fifty poems in this collection is “A Water Lily,” which was published in the coterie magazine, Age of Creative Activity in 1968, “At the Flower Bed” from my first collection of poetry The Village Having the Poetry (1971), the poem “The Dawn of Mount Sinai“ (2001), which won the prize at The Kidock Annual Literary contest. Although I chose a few poems from my previous six collections, this is mostly a collection of new poems. I think that this literary painting book represents fifty years of my poetry history.
